Hicimos la reserva por Expedia un día antes de nuestra llegada. Al llegar a la propiedad, la reserva no estaba registrada, por lo que tuvimos que esperar aproximadamente 40 minutos fuera. Finalmente, alrededor de las 3:30 p. m., nos permitieron el acceso, pero el apartamento aún no estaba listo, por lo que no pudimos subir las maletas de inmediato. Aprovechamos ese tiempo para salir a hacer compras y regresamos alrededor de las 5:00 p. m., momento en el que finalmente pudimos ingresar. Al instalarnos, notamos varios inconvenientes: El televisor de la habitación no estaba conectado. El control remoto no tenía baterías. Al colocarle las baterías del control del aire acondicionado, tampoco funcionó. Reportamos estos problemas de inmediato. Aunque el personal indicó que trabajaba hasta las 9:00 p. m., ya a las 8:00 p. m. no estaba disponible, por lo que tuvimos que esperar hasta el día siguiente. La revisión se realizó en horas de la tarde y se nos indicó que nos enviarían el control remoto “en breve”, lo cual nunca ocurrió. Un punto que se nos mencionó de forma reiterada al llegar fue el pago adicional por electricidad por día y la limpieza final, siendo esta prácticamente la única gestión que se realizó de manera efectiva. Adicionalmente, el parqueo de la unidad no está identificado, por lo que se debe estacionar de manera aleatoria, con el riesgo de que el vehículo sea movido. En general, hubo falta de seguimiento y control.

Arrived at night, to no electricity even though we had just paid the additional amount for electricity. Then we discovered there was no cold water so we could not use the toilets or shower for the next 24 hours till they got it fixed. Even then there was never enough hot water for all four of us o shower one after the other. When we got into bed, the bed broke in half with a loud crack, so we moved the mattress to the living room for the first night till the repaired the bed the next day. There were only 3 beach towels and despite asking, we never got a fourth. Celier’s ad clearly states hot tub as an amenity, but it turns out the jacuzzi on our balcony was cold water jacuzzi. Disappointing. Then their site says they have a gym, but no gym, apparently getting renovated. I badly needed the gym to continue physio after knee surgery, this was a must for me when I was searching for a place to stay. Then finally, one of the kitchen cabinet doors almost fell on my head as the upper hinge just came off!
Bed broke as soon as we got on, and we’re not heavy people!
Kitchen cabinet door remained unfixed through the rest of our stay.

The apartment was nice, with good amenities, and good communication with the concierge. The swimming pool is also very nice. Unfortunately the shower in the unit I rented was not heating. The concierge tried to fix it, but it was Christmas period and it was not solved through my stay. Sadly, the daily energy fee + the fee to get to the beach almost double the rental fee.

Do not book this place. Xeliter Cana Rock in Punta Cana was advertised as a luxury condo, but it was a total disappointment. When we arrived, the electricity was off, no one was there to greet us, and we had to figure out the circuit breaker ourselves. There was no Wi-Fi until hours later. We were promised beach access, but didn’t get the passes until the day before checkout—and weren’t told the beach closed at 6pm. We got there at 5:30 and were denied entry. The penthouse suite was dirty, with animal feces on the balcony, dirty laundry in the bathroom and washer, no bottled water (despite undrinkable tap water), and no dish soap. The hot tub didn’t heat up, and the showers had no hot water. They told us this was “normal” yet it could be fixed but never sent anyone to fix it. The pool connected to our suite was dirty, yellow and under construction, so we had to walk across the complex to use another one. On top of all that, they charged us an extra 20 dollars day for electricity—never disclosed until after we booked. Their 70 dollar shuttle was also a scam, since Uber was only 35 dollars. No front desk, no accountability, no compensation. This place is cheap for a reason, and the management doesn’t care about guest experience. Save your money and stay at an actual resort. This was false advertising and a complete scam.

El servicio es muy bueno. La calidad de la estadía pésima. El jacuzzi no tiene agua caliente. Nos cambiaron de villa porque el aire acondicionado no funcionaba en la primera villa. El jacuzzi no funcionó en ambas villas. La piscina se despinta y sales lleno de pintura. La compañía que administra es muy servicial e intentan que todo esté puntual, la calidad de la villa, malísima.
