Mixed reviews here. Definitely not a 5 star property and never truly will be when comparing to other luxury 5 stars. Food and drinks: Above average for an all-inclusive. Still could use some work but overall pretty good. Upgraded alcohol and good sit down restaurants. Daytime options are limited and not great. Pool food was terrible. Adult pool bartenders are terrible. Make inconsistent drinks and don't make them how you request. They should replace these with better bartenders. Rooms: WAY TOO SMALL. Don't be deceived, they advertise larger rooms on the website but they're all the same size (540 sf which is small for a resort that claims to be 5 star). The rooms they show as being larger are just including balcony square footage which is deceiving as far as I'm concerned. Beach: Good beach, it's tucked in a marina so water is calm Monkey Bar is awesome, best bartender on the property Adult pool is great. Family pool is underwhelming. Too small, it was freezing and we had to beg like eight different people to heat it. 80 degrees and sunny and pool was empty because it was so cold. Hotel already showing some wear even though it's brand new. They need to go back through and do some work to make it look new. Imagine it won't age well. We had a hot tub on the roof and the water was so gross (brown) that we refused to get in it. Location not bad but you can't walk anywhere up and down the beach because it's confined in the marina.

SLS Playa Mujeres is a beautifully designed resort with cuisine that is superior to all that I have experienced here in the playa mujeres coast. I have stayed here twice now in two months, and have spent relaxing times on the beach which always has easy access to chairs/umbrellas (in the adult portion), and the adult pool which always has good DJs and at times live music as well. My only issue both times was the control of the children at this resort, especially at night. Up until 10pm at night, they would be at the bars such as Hudson Tavern and disrupt the experiences of many adults. Many of the leasure areas to sit in the evening would also be taken up my misbehaved children. Control and better management of this issue is necessary if this specific resort wants to flourish. It has so much potential, and it is a shame to see the direction things have taken in the first 3 months since it opened in November 2024.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The service was impeccable from start to finish. The concierge team went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless and that we lacked nothing during our stay. A special shoutout to Enrique, the bartender at the swim-up pool – he was exceptional! His friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and amazing cocktails truly enhanced our experience. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The stuff is very friendly. They working hard to make everybody happy. We had stay with two kids as was a little bit hard with the food selection because they don’t have buffet lunch in dinner so the kids have not nothing to eat except pizza nuggets and chips. Hope they’re gonna open the buffet as soon as possible.

The resort had tons of activities such as Mariachi, live music, and dances. I enjoyed their friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and such beautiful views. A huge shoutout to the bartenders there especially Ivan, Daniel Lopez, Moises, and Andy. They're always attentive, friendly, funny, and helpful you will have a blast with them. Beautiful property and spectacular food. Beach was great and where we hung out most of the time during the day. Some of the areas are very rocky so I would bring water shoes when we go back. This place is truly incredible! The hotel is brand spanking new and luxurious. Only thing I would suggest is they make milkshakes for kids at the bars and restaurants to also have an option for them ….as most all inclusive in other cancun resorts do have this . Other than that this place is amazing with Hiit workout classes that is daily ,excellent fine dining in the evening and very capable and hospitable staff Well done SLS!

The worst hotel I’ve stayed at. It ruined our trip, honestly. My boyfriend and I stayed about two weeks ago. We arrived at the resort at 10 am to do an early check in. By 4:30 pm, we were still not in our rooms! Don’t know who designed the bathroom showers. They are terrible. Water runs from the shower, unto the bathroom, unto the room, unto the hallway and even under the tiles. Immediately called reception. They sounded like it happens all the time. As pretty as the room looks, we were unable to enjoy it since we were panicking putting towels everywhere
