Twee heerlijke weken vakantie gehad in Calvinet! Het huisje is ruim en alles is aanwezig! Wij hebben twee weken lang alleen maar vogels, krekels en koeien gehoord, verder volledige rust. Ligt wel wat afgelegen, veel te doen in de omgeving, maar je zit af en toe 45-60 minuten in de auto, mede door de kronkelweggetjes. Grote supermarkten op 20 minuten afstand in Aurillac. Enige minpunt wat wij kunnen bedenken waren toch wat harde bedden, die waren voor ons net iets te hard. Verder helemaal super!

Aankomst was prima, de eigenaresse was al aanwezig. Het contact verliep heel prettig. Ze spreekt alleen Frans. Het huis is perfect, alle ruimtes zijn groot, de voorzieningen zijn erg goed. De inventaris is compleet, met een mooi overdekt buitenterras. Problemen met het ontbreken van WiFi werden goed opgelost. De omgeving was, wat ons betreft wat teleurstellend. Het dorp heeft al jaren geen restaurant of hotel, het gemeentelijk zwembad ligt afgelegen en zag er niet aantrekkelijk uit. Er is een kleine supermarkt , met een ruim voldoende aanbod, en ook een bakker. Het dorp heeft geen geldautomaat, daarvoor moet je in elk geval naar Aurillac, Montsalvy of Maurs of verder. Er is een postkantoortje in de mairie. De omliggende plaatsen zijn bereikbaar via bochtige wegen, logisch want we zitten in de bergen. Restaurants in de buurt zijn in o.a. Montsalvy of Mourjou, met erg lekker eten.

Het huisje in Prentegarde, Calvinet is ons zeer goed bevallen. Naast de hartelijke ontvangst van onze gastvrouw, het ruime huisje en de nette complete inrichting zorgde ervoor dat mijn vrouw en ik, er ons meteen thuis voelde. De ligging midden in de natuur en de rustige omgeving heeft ertoe bijgedragen dat wij een prettige vakantie hebben gehad. Aanbevelenswaardig. Peter en José Coerver

Der Garten war ein Hit bei den Kindern, sie haben es geliebt, herumzulaufen, Das Wohnzimmer war super gemütlich und wir genossen unsere Abende am Kamin, Die Lage war schön und ruhig, in der Nähe von guten Stellen zum Radfahren und Kanufahren, Das einzige, was, der Check-in könnte etwas früher sein, Aber hey, wir würden auf jeden Fall zurückkommen!
