Perched above the water, Kraken Cove is a one-of-a-kind coastal escape where mornings start with coffee overlooking the cove and evenings end with sunsets, salt air, and a drink in hand.
This isn’t a modern, cookie-cutter home. It’s a charming, ever-evolving coastal cottage with quirks and character (including slightly uneven floors that may make you feel like you're on a boat). If you’re looking for something unique, memorable, and full of life—welcome aboard.
The space
Inside, you’ll find glowing tiki vibes, octopus décor, and a space full of personality—equal parts relaxing retreat and fun getaway.
The home features two bedrooms, a bright living room with stunning water views, one full bathroom, and a small half bath with a giant whale theme.
Good to Know Before Booking
Parking is limited (2 cars max) and strictly enforced in designated spaces
Quiet residential waterfront area — no parties or events
No smoking anywhere on the property ($500 fee for violations)
Well-behaved pets welcome with approval
No central AC (window units provided seasonally)
Inside the Home
Living Room
The highlight of the house. Large windows offer panoramic views of the cove. Features a reclining sofa and a 65” Samsung TV with Roku. Around the corner, a small breakfast nook overlooks the water from an adjacent hallway.
Kitchen
Fully equipped with an electric range, full-size refrigerator, cookware, dishes, utensils, pots/pans, wine glasses, and all the essentials. An LG washer/dryer laundry combo unit is also located here.
Tiki Room (Dining Area)
A fun, themed space with a coffee bar, pub table with seating for four, neon lighting, and plenty of quirky nautical/tiki character. Includes a 32” TV.
The two bedrooms are very different, each with their own character:

Note: This bedroom is partially open to the kitchen over a high half-wall (about 7 ft). It offers visual privacy, but sound can travel between the spaces.

Located off the hallway (shower only, no tub).
Outdoor Space
The outdoor areas at Kraken Cove are spread across multiple levels connected by stairs. At the top, you’ll find a gas grill and deck with table and chairs for outdoor dining. Just below is a covered outdoor living room lounge area with a sofa and unobstructed views of the cove.
Continuing down, there’s a grassy terrace with a gas fire pit, surrounded by lush, seasonal gardens. At the bottom, the space opens to the waterfront dock area, with four Adirondack chairs and a wood-burning fire pit right on the water.
Please note: the layout includes stairs and uneven terrain, and sound carries easily across the cove—especially at night—so please be mindful of noise.
Two tandem kayaks are available for guest use (summer only; some life jackets may be provided, but bringing your own is recommended).
You may even be able to catch blue crabs or do some casual fishing right from the dock, just be sure to follow all state and local regulations.
Waterfront & Kayak Use
The property is located directly on the water. Guests are responsible for their own safety and the supervision of children at all times.
Kayaks are available for guest use at your own risk. Life jackets should always be worn, and guests assume responsibility for any injuries or accidents related to water activities.
