Love the unique style! First day I felt a bit overwhelmed with the religious paintings. But then I immersed myself in. Only 2 things is a bit annoying- the bedroom door on the third floor are very loud when open or close. And the dinner is expensive for me.

This place is a former monastery where medical nuns resided. A few are still there and they have a museum within. There is a good blend of old and. new. I loved our simple no phone, no tv room. It was a totally peaceful place with breakfast being eaten in silence. Certainly, a unique experience.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, quiet and restful. Great services, including a free tour of the monastery’s museum by a very knowledgeable guide and volunteer, Anna. Massage by Helen was amazing. The whole experience was a wonderful retreat from the buzzing Quebec City.

Beautiful piece of history in Old Quebec

The hotel was amazing. The way they have preserved but modernized the monastery is beautiful. All the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Beds very comfortable. Staff very accommodating.

The bathroom has little shelf space to put toilet bags, not hanging space for wet towels. Our room faced an office building wall 20 feet away. Room and towel service are every second day only. Restaurant is pretty midiocre. No lounge space. No comfortable seating at all.

If you don’t speak French, you need to make sure that the front desk employees truly understand what you are saying during the conversation, it’s will cause big misunderstanding by just assuming they are totally understand your English.

Really appreciated the quietness and respect for silence. Breakfast is excellent - all healthy options. But shared washrooms and baths is a problem, especially for older people who need to go several times at night.
