This well-equipped home has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The open-plan living area is bright and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Queenstown or up the slopes skiing. A large, functional kitchen makes meal prep easy, and outdoor area —including a wrap-around deck—provides the perfect spot to soak in the lake and mountain views.



There’s plenty of space to spread out, with cozy bedrooms, a handy laundry, and a double garage for easy access and storage of ski gear or luggage. While the home isn’t modern, it’s warm, comfortable, and great value for those wanting a relaxed getaway.

Warm and Comfy Home

We had a great stay at this property. It was very spacious for our family of four. Heating in every room including the bathrooms meant that we were warm and toasty throughout our stay and we loved that the home was preheated prior to our arrival. The property was comfortable and well equipped and there was enough soap, dishwashing tablets and washing powder to last us throughout our week-long stay. A lot of the bedding is extremely old, however it was clean and comfortable. There are two full bathrooms plus a third toilet downstairs. The garage was very handy as we were there for the ski season and could simply leave our equipment on the roof racks each evening. You do need to be very careful going down the driveway, even our Rav4 scraped if we went at the wrong angle, we found the trick is to turn around at the top of the road and enter from the other side crossing the top of the drive as far to the right as possible. Our only disappointment was that we were expecting to be able to use the fireplace but on enquiring we were informed that it has been decommissioned.

Amazing views!

The property was more or less exactly as described. Beautiful views of the airport, mountains and marina, all in one place! Watched several airplane takeoffs and landings from the deck! Accommodation was good and the correspondence was timely and appropriate.

Great location, amazing views, spacious house , convenient to reach shops/ activities in Queenstown ! We loved the daily view of lake Wakatipu and the magnificent Remarkables .

Nice views - but that’s about all

Good points - Views. Bad points - Beds are terrible and must be replaced, they’re old and uncomfortable. Parking, garage ok but access in and out is horrendous. People park over the driveway. Kitchen ok, but oven worked once and couldn’t use it again. Rear patio has deteriorated and appears to be unsafe. I refused to stand on it. Overall, the house is really noisy. Wood creaking is really annoying, especially when kids trying to sleep.

Great place for a family or group of friends

Property had all the basics you need, dryer was so nice to have as well as the heated towel racks in the bathroom and we got extra towels with no hassle as we hired a hot tub (would recommend!). Kitchen is big and living/dining is spacious and comfy. Beds aren’t the comfiest and they definitely need new pillows but overall an excellent property with a stunning view you can’t beat.

House with a view

Amazing views of the lake and mountains. Great location , easy check in process. Updated kitchen and bathrooms but the rest of the house is a bit dated. Have to take care with the internal steps if you are staying with young children. Nothing much was available in the pantry. Would have been nice to have at least tea & coffee stocked for the guests. Overall we had a good stay.

fantastic location and views

An excellent stay and the property has fantastic panoramic views. We found the location to be very good for both visiting Queenstown and beyond. It would benefit from some TLC but overall I think that you would be hard pushed to find a better property in the area.
