The property really makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a rainforest, but the staff does a great job of making sure you are enjoying your stay. I highly recommend Ecotica.

I booked this property based on rating, photos, and price. Everything was wonderful! Beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast included! The pool area with bar is lovely. We saw many monkeys around the property but they did not interfere. We stayed in the suite rooms building, great room but only issue was some street noise; not a deal breaker! I would certainly recommend Ecotica!

Great experience overall. Best part is a lot of monkeys and birds are visible from their facility which has a lot of wooded area around it. Spotted capachin monkeys, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, red macaws, bananaquit, Agoutis and iguana. The hotel is 5 mins from National park and beautiful beaches. A lot of restaurant choices around and a bus shuttle runs every 15 mins to National park.

The staff was so kind and helpful especially Moses and Joshua. The rooms were big and clean and the beds were super comfortable. But the best part were all of the monkeys that seemed to show up every night at happy hour. Would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

If you are an into nature and wildlife, you will love this property!!! We saw more wildlife here than anywhere else we visited, we saw howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys and squirrel monkeys, we also saw toucans and scarlet macaws. The beaches are walking distance and the national park is about a 15 minute drive. The onsite restaurant “Yolo” has a great menu and the food is delicious!! The free breakfast is also really good!! The staff here are all very friendly and go out of their way for you! Overall we enjoyed every aspect of our stay and would highly recommend this place to everyone!

This was our first time in Costa Rica and Ecotica delivered to our expectations. The social bar connected to the hotel (YOLO social) had amazing food and drinks. The property of ecotica is beautiful and makes you feel like you are walking through the rain forest. The rooms were clean and had a fresh modern look. Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful. I would stay here again when I visit Costa Rica and recommend any of my friends to stay here if they come to MA

The staff was amazing! Mariela, Moses, Amy and Kerly were so sweet and friendly. The property is incredible with so much wildlife. The howler monkeys were intense! I miss the sound of them. The monkey mafia (casiblanco) were entertaining. They’d roll through later in the day and put on a show.

Upon arrival, we saw little monkeys playing on the canopy. At breakfast we heard and saw beautiful parrots above. Everywhere we saw beautiful plants and animals. The staff was helpful and friendly. I could submit requests or questions to the front desk via Whatsapp, which was very convenient. The food was terrific. The pool was the perfect temperature. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Fantastic stay, we're sad to leave!

Like a hidden hotel inside a rain forest

Ecotica is almost like staying in a hotel that is hidden inside the rain forest. Very friendly staff, all the facilities are readily available including spa, pool, restaurants and even a small casino!
