We had a great stay at hotel cocomar. It was remote and off the beaten path which we absolutely loved. The kitchen made delicious food, the room was very nice, and the pool area was beautiful. We loved the closeness to the ocean as well! We would love to come back again.

This hotel was amazing! Without a rental car, trips added up quickly- it is far from everything!!! The beach was empty, stunning, and wellmaintained. The staff were super kind & helpful. I would recommend staying here if you want a laid back trip! Macaws flying around were so pretty (and loud!) we also saw parrots, iguanas, and many other animals! Restaurant was good, it is a bit limited menu, but everything we ate/drank was delicous (Guanabana drink was hard to top!).

Nice pool and staff, rooms are big with a nice view, however it's not mentioned anywhere that you have to drive on a gravel road for 3 kms to get here and there's no signal in the area which is not a huge issue since the WiFi works great. Included breakfast is very poor, otherwise if you pay for other options they have good food.
