Named after our grand mango tree that shades the property, this peaceful retreat blends comfort, sustainability, and authentic local charm — all just minutes from the beach and the national park.

🏡 The Space
Our cabin was lovingly built using natural and ecological materials, designed to let the tropical light and air flow freely. It comfortably hosts up to 5 guests across two levels:

Main Level:
• Open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a cozy seating area with TV
• Bedroom with a double bed and its own AC unit for cool nights
• Bathroom with hot shower and washing machine
• Powerful air conditioning serving both the ground floor and upper level

Mezzanine Loft:
• Accessible via comfortable stairs rebuilt in 2021
• Features two queen beds in an open, airy layout overlooking the main area
• Ideal for families or friends traveling together

Step outside to enjoy our refreshing pool, shared with one other cabin on the property. The pool features a solar-powered pump, keeping things eco-conscious and sustainable.

The fenced and gated property offers secure parking, tropical greenery, and the sounds of nature combined with the vibrant atmosphere of a local neighborhood. In the mornings, enjoy your coffee under the mango tree while spotting colorful birds — and if you’re lucky, you might see monkeys visiting the garden!

Finca Los Mangos sits in a local neighborhood in the hills of Manuel Antonio — authentic, peaceful, and close to everything:
• Just a 10-minute drive to Manuel Antonio Beach, National Park, or Quepos
• Bus stop only 250 m away – catch the local bus to the beach, Quepos (the bus coming from San José stops there too)
• Short walk to restaurants, shops on the main road of Manuel Antonio
• A small supermarket and local favorite El Cerdo Feliz Restaurant is just 50 m away

The neighborhood is home to friendly locals as well as a few other Airbnbs. Like many Costa Rican communities, you may hear the sounds of daily life — people chatting and laughing, music, dogs, or cars passing by. It’s all part of the vibrant local atmosphere that makes staying here such an authentic experience.

I live in my home country Switzerland and am very happy to communicate with you via messages. The local co-owner of Finca Los Mangos Jenny lives just next door and will make sure everything runs smoothly for you. We like to give you your privacy but are available when needed and if there are questions about the area. Let us know if we can help you organize your activities and tours

The setting is a residential neighborhood in the rainforest, just off the main road of Manuel Antonio. Stock up in a small supermarket only a block away before heading off on the 10-minute journey by road to the beach and the national park.

By bus, taxi or rental car Manuel Antonio beach, the national park and Quepos is just about 10 minutes away. You may as well walk to the beach. This would take between 30 and 40 minutes

Mini the cat lives in the garden of Finca Los Mangos. She does not enter the casita.

The pool, parking and garden, is for shared use with the other Duplex at Finca Los Mangos. Please be considerate with the other guests. There is only parking for one car per house on the property. Leaving the car outside is at your own risk

No luggage drop off or storage before or after stay - we just don’t have a separate space for this

When booking, please make sure to put the correct guest count. The price varies according to the amount of guests staying. We will prepare the apartment based on the amount of guests booked
No unregistered guests

Help to safe energy and resources. Do not leave the a/c on when not home or windows and doors are open

Please shower before using the pool! No food in the pool and no glassware at the pool area. Open from 7 am to 10 pm

Please do not move the furniture

There is space to park one normal sized car on the property for you (one per house).
If a key is lost, a fee of USD 100 is charged to cover the cost of changing the locks
Make sure everyone in your group is familiar with those rules

This is a non smoking house.

This cabin offers its guests a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Quepos cabin is smoke free.
