With only 3 cabins set in beautiful trees overlooking Quesada and the Palma Valley, this place is magical. The hosts Luis and Marjorie run the fabulous La Hortensia restaurant with organically grown food from the farm. Wanted to leave no review so that we could keep this place a secret!

Cozy, nature getaway

Smooth and friendly check-in. Staff was incredibly kind, including giving us their umbrella when it started raining and showing us all the way to our cabana. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is large and clean as well. Balcony/Terraza was a relaxing sight in the morning with picturesque views over the town below.

The food was fresh and delicious, with homemade cheese! The view of the valley is breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. All around a wonderful stay.

i have been in Costa Rica multiple times (about 10 times) and this is by far my favourite experience so far, it’s truly authentic. I did not feel like another guess but like family, this family owned business has it all- a quiet place to rest, a breath taking view of the city, good wifi to be able to work if needed, great top food and an amazing staff. I will definitely be back, I hope it never changes. You can also see how they make their own cheese ( the owner will actually wait for you at 7 am and take you to the lechería) I really loved the place.

We are birdwatchers and it was great to be able to bird right off the balcony. Quiet except for some dog barking and very pleasant grounds. Cabin cozy but with everything we needed and a terrific view over the valley and Ciudad Quesada. Staff friendly and very good breakfast.
