Two minutes away from the Trolebus station (main line in the north-south direction), three minutes to Calle La Ronda, the most popular street of the old town, with many restaurants and pubs and ten minutes, all of course walking distance from the time-honored Plaza Sto. Domingo, Wantara Suites are quiet and yet completely central.
All the squares, churches and museums are within easy walking distance, so you can enjoy Quito's old town, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Small shops like bakery, vegetable garden etc. are around the corner, a supermarket is 15 minutes walk. A taxi takes you to Nordstadt with its modern shopping centers for about 3U $.
