The hotel can use some updating and cleaning. When I initially entered the hotel, I could smell someone cooking fried fish. I didn’t like that smell walking into a place that I will be staying in for the night.

Great location! Good for short stay centrally located. Unfortunately the room had a very bad smell I. It due to previous guests cooking in room. Our clothes all had to be washed due to the smell after trip. Room was mostly clean and staff was great. Again stay was very brief and accommodations were good other than the smell in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was advertised as an accessible room and it did have a safety bar just as you step into the tub. But the tub was slippery, and there was no safety bar to grab if you slipped in the tub. I would recommend safety treads on the bottom of the tub, and perhaps a stool which could be kept in the closet. Sometimes we seniors have trouble standing in a shower or tub, and a safe bathtub stool would be helpful, A hand held shower would also be helpful.

Very nice hotel, well maintained and very convenient to Crabtree Mall. My only complaint was that my room smelled like an ash tray. The bed was great. Everything was clean. Large fridge, stove, microwave. I would stay again, I would just get a different room

Most of the desk staff are friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel, or lack there of, is where the hotel really loses points for me. I've stayed at this hotel several times for work, and the rooms are always barely cleaned, if at all. Multiple times I've checked in, was given a room that was never cleaned from the previous guest (bed still soiled, dirty towels still piled in the bathroom, garbages full--literally no one even went in the room) that was allegedly cleaned and had to go back to the front desk to be given a different room. Other times, I had to ask for a different room because there was hair all over the sheets and it looked like they weren't even changed and the bed had been made with the same sheets from the last guest. When the rooms are "clean", the counters still aren't clean, the floor hasn't been swept, the carpet hasn't been vacuumed, the soap dispensers are empty, etc. I usually tip maid service $25 a week even though they only clean the room once a week at this hotel, but I've stopped tipping when I stay at this particular hotel--if I have to clean my own room when I check in, then it doesn't seem fair that I'm expected to tip for that. The front desk is always very nice about giving me a different room when I check in to find my allegedly ready room was never cleaned, but I will try to stay at the one in Apex if I'm back in town again for work because I can't handle how dirty this hotel is. It's a shame, because most of the front desk staff are great.

My room was pretty spacious stocked with different kitchen necessary such as pots pans plateware etc. The bathroom had its own shampoo conditioner and bidy wash, different from the standard mini bar of soap. Honestly, surprised with how much the room had to offer for a single. There was also a gym on the first floor, which is great if you find the time to utilize it. Overall, i enjoyed my experience and would book again if in town.
