Its a very quirky hotel. The interior room is tiny and didn't have a window. So I got upsold a room with a window it was still small but its only accessed via outdoor walkway which stinks when it is only 20 degrees outside. Checkin also took forever since their card reader wasn't working. Last there's a loud train at midnight and dumpster pickup at 4a.

Nice clean room, beautiful view over the pool and city center, staff was friendly, and it was centrally located to plenty of good restaurants, shopping, and the Carolina Theatre. Will definitely stay again!

Great location and cool building from the outside, but inside it feels cold and deserted. Room is the antithesis of cozy- high ceilings and poor lighting. Also hard to adjust temperature. Would not stay there again.

Easy parking though if you have a large SUV, it might be a tight fit. Great location to several eating options and DPAC. Quirky motel style hotel. We stayed on the pool floor and it was Igloo season and music was playing. Staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows, we slept well. We’d definitely stay there again.
