Das Appartment ist nicht direkt beim Hotel (wo der Check-in ist), sondern etwas weiter vorne an der Strasse. Also das Gepäck nicht ausladen zum Check-in :) Das Studio ist schlicht, aber sauber. Kochmöglichkeit inkl. Backofen ist vorhanden. Uns hat es gefallen, wir würden wiederkommen. Unbezahlbar ist natürlich die Möglichkeit zu Randzeiten zum Skogafoss zu gehen und ihn (fast) für sich zu haben.

Gutes Rundreise Hotel bei einer Sehenswürdigkeit

Das Personal war freundlich und unser Zimmer sauber und geräumig. das Frühstück war umfangreich und wurde regelmässig aufgefüllt. Da das Hotel gleich bei einem grossen Wasserfall steht, ist das touristische Gelaufe im Hotel zugehörigen Restaurant tagsüber ein bisschen viel. Das Restaraunt ist sehr lecker und unterscheidet sich preislich nicht von anderen Touristenlokationen. Gewöhnungsbedürftig aber typisch für Island ist, dass das Heisswasser ein bisschen nach Schwefel gerochen hat.
