Nice & Clean

I got a great off-season rate. The room was spacious and very clean and in good repair. Large shower with full size shampoo and conditioner provided, great water pressure. Bed was comfortable, soft sheets and lots of pillows. There is even a fire pit with cushions out front to gather. Breakfast was your standard fare, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, juice, coffee.

The staff was lovely however the place needed a good vacuum and our room was pretty stained on the seating of chairs and benches making it look dirty. I also don’t appreciate having to pay a pet fee when my pet is fully potty trained and never left on her own without being Jen led.

Paid there $9.72 resort fee. Plus a $50 deposit. Then they charged my card $59.72. And have not refunded the $50 deposit. When I called the very rude lady said “ it’s your banks fault” after speaking with my bank unfortunately this is a trick some hotels pull to keep your deposits. Horrible Theft!!

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have had the same lady check us in each time. We went downstairs who is three to get some Cheetos. There was birthday going on and my daughter was going to run off. She cried and threw a fit when my husband stopped her and the front desk asked us three times if she was actually our child. This made us feel awkward and made us feel a lot of anxiety. She is three. Three olds throw fits and say things they don’t mean. There was also some mold on the ceiling in our bathroom. Not returning after this expierence

Front desk clerk was a bit stern but warmed up and was a nice employee who even allowed us a late checkout. Only real complaint was that in purchasing a can of apple cider (alcoholic) from your small retail food area adjacent to the front hotel counter, it cost $6 for the one 12 ounce can. That's nuts and was a definite ripoff for a $3 (maximum) item!
