HISTORY
This property is steeped in remarkable local history. The original Flume Trail — built to carry water to the gold mines of the Black Hills — runs behind the cabin along the mountain. At the front of the property, the old railroad that operated in the late 1800s and early 1900s once passed right through. And the bend in the creek nearby was a traditional camping area for Native Americans — a peaceful, storied spot with centuries of history beneath your feet.
WILDLIFE
Keep your eyes open — bighorn sheep are regularly spotted on the hillside across the creek, bald eagles soar overhead, and a wonderful variety of birds make this area home year-round.
PARKING & ACCESS
Free off-street parking on site. Self check-in via smartlock — your code will be provided prior to arrival.

Like most properties in the Black Hills, this home uses a well system — completely standard for the area. In winter months, 4-wheel drive or AWD is recommended for the lower parking area.
