We found the service to be quite poor, especially in the restaurant. The A/C unit was on and off all night, blowing right onto our faces- worst sleep we ever had. The rooms are small and stuffy-not as advertised online. The place definitely needs upgrades.

This an older building in great need of upgrades. Carpets were very dirty. Restaurant/dining area is dingy, dimly lit, dirty and has a jumble of old booth parts and pieces for seating. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were clean and comfortable.

The room was very small. My room was suppose to have a sink but I couldn’t access it because the side table that my bed was pushing up against was also in front of the sink. There was no cover on the duvet either. There was hair in the tub. The balcony was an enclosed area so that the heat from the air conditioner had some where to go.

Only as a last resort…

If there is no other place to stay in Sylvan Lake than it’s fine… Breakfast (eggs and sausages) were lukewarm, certainly didn’t trust the food. Room was very small with an AC unit pretty much right over the bed blowing right into our faces all night, and was very loud. Restroom in the restaurant smelled like an outhouse. Entire hotel really didn’t look like any care had been taken to keep the place looking respectable.
