This property has potential solely because the location is fantastic. It is walking distance to everything in Red River. Unfortunately, that was the only redeeming quality of our entire stay.Our experience started with a miscommunication. The listing stated check-in was 3:00, but the host told us day-of it was 4:00. We didn't mind waiting, but at 4:00, the cleaner was still there. She ignored us when we walked in, leaving us confused until she finally left at 4:15.Despite the delay, cleanliness was the biggest issue. ALL of the bedding was disgustingly dirty. The house is mostly carpeted (an odd choice for a ski property) and it was horrendously stained. The "clean" towels in the cabinets were all damp, so we were met with an unwanted surprise after showering and had to dry the linens ourselves. Every dish we tried to use was also covered in a sticky film.Maintenance is also lacking. There is a hole in the upstairs bathroom wall where a rack fell off. Worse, the upstairs thermostat wouldn't go past 60 degrees, making it too cold for anyone to sleep up there. This was ironic since checkout instructions said to set it to 65.I messaged the host about the cleanliness and towels but never received a response, so I didn't bother reporting the heat. Even with the great location, I wouldn't stay here again and cannot recommend it.
