The hotel botched our reservations and we were forced to cut our trip short. The staff were unfriendly and seemed completely disinterested in helping us resolve our issue.
Throughout our stay, the front desk staff seemed more interested in looking at their phones than acknowledging guests. The cleaning staff, on the other hand, were quite friendly and professional. And they have upgraded the rooms from years past.
After going for more than 30 years and enduring construction, broken air-conditioners, and dredging on the beach (which they did not inform us about ahead of time), I think we have finally reached our limit.
The location is superb. But there is always something wrong at the Henlopen.
