Very clean and well run.

Very pleasantly surprised! The hotel was sold out for the days we stayed there but you'd never know it by how quiet the room was. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lots of perks, including free breakfast, vouchers for beach chairs and umbrella every day, free mini golf, and discount crab restaurant right next door. Very clean and well run. Convenient walk to beach and walk to town. Would stay there again.

Rooms were not cleaned while we were there. If we wanted to pay $25 each day we were there they would have done it. Janis the day desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Have to pay $12 for a pool towel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful as this was our first visit to Bethany Beach. Our room was clean and spascious. However the bathroom amenities were pretty meager considering the room price rate. We had an adjoining room so we could hear talking and TV through the doors to the other room. Fortunately, they were not overly loud. The free breakfast was decent. If I ever return to Bethany Beach, I would definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed here over the weekend with my daughters because they’d decided we all ‘needed’ a beach weekend. Check in was quick and easy; the staff clearly explained the amenities, some of which were two free mini golf vouchers, free chairs for the beach, and a discount at a nearby restaurant. Plus, there were two free drinks in the room fridge. Our room was clean and everything was in working order. I found the beds to be extremely comfortable, and I don’t usually sleep well in hotels. The girls tried the pool and it was clean, water was cold but to be fair, it’s September. Lol. The location was great—the walk to the beach was easy. We loved that there was a nearby restaurant and shops and mini golf. The free breakfast was pretty good, too. The only negative, was paying for parking. There’s a large lot, so I don’t really get the point in that. I think it was $25/night. We’d definitely stay here again!

Besides the proximity to the beach, the best thing about Hotel Bethany Beach is the staff. They are kind and incredibly helpful with anything big or small.

The room smelled strongly of bleach, and the hotel staff was terrible. They gave our room to other guests and then provided us with a key to a room that was already occupied. It was clear they had no idea what they were doing. Location was safe and about 15 minutes walk to the main beach entrance.
