The room was clean and quiet. The staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and yummy. Hotel mascot Baymont was quick to welcome me with her sweet purring. I enjoyed my unexpected visit to this charming area.

I decided to stay here while in Danville, Va, after a not so great experience there last month, and was very happy with that decision. It’s about 18 miles from Danville, which was fine since I went in during the morning, and returned to Eden in the evening. It was about half the cost of staying in Danville and much, much nicer than anything comparable there. The hotel, its surroundings, and my room were very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I could only fault it in two areas, and that’s being picky: there are no coin operated laundry facilities (although there is a laundromat within close walking distance), and the breakfast could be improved (with better quality hot food). I still give this little hotel an excellent rating though, and I’ll continue to stay here whenever I’m in the area.
