A good hotel for family

I get a 2 storey room with a balcony at the lower floor. You able to observe the stars from balcony if the weather is good. The breakfast is an order to make which is really good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Mini bar and snacks are free to use, included a bottle of red wine (small) from Old England!

Old and expensive hotel

Hotel is old. Furnishings are old. Toilet facilities are old and ridiculous. You need to squeeze behind the door to wash your hands. Don't have a good feeling. Alot of steps and definitely not child friendly or elderly friendly. Promised view of mountain but got room facing dried up trees. Dishonest. Booked with breakfast but told no breakfast. Luckily I only booked for 1 night.

Situated away from the main road, requires driving

I was slightly disappointed by the fact that it's very unfriendly for older people as there's no lifts (or at least slopes) for bringing your luggages up/down to rooms/reception. Room was visibly aged but thankfully not gross - they have tried their best to keep it clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Provides complimentary cookies/cup noodles and drinks at night.

Best for relaxation

Love the concept of upstairs & downstairs beds which is excellent for family. Huge TV & lots of channel to watch. They even Hv Free shuttle bus to The Old England Manor & Shangrila Hanging Gsrden Villa.

A lovely, cozy hotel!

The hotel is so lovely and the deco is just so nice! You won't feel like you are in Taiwan, cos the surrounding and the hotel has a European feel! We were told that this hotel is owned by the boss of old England hotel. Their staff are friendly too, we were given a head band , notebook, stationery and a small bottle of red wine as a welcome gift!

The room was very spacious. However, the room was rather dusty especially the sofa and the cupboard top, which we only realised after everyone started sneezing. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

Excellent service from Winny and Cindy!

Service was superb! Thanks to Cindy and Winny we had a wonderful stay. They provided us with excellent services and was friendly throughout the stay. Left an item in the hotel and only realized it when I reached Taipei, called them and Winny helped to courier it to my Taipei hotel, it was a breeze! Special thanks to her! Only down side was the toilet was leaking but luckily they upgraded us to a better room and the room was excellent! They also recommended and arranged for transport to our dinner place. Highly recommended place to stay at! They are the kind of employees employers should keep and reward! P.S If you are also considering the old England manor, I suggest you go for this instead, they are under the same company(learned it from our driver, Mr Lee which was excellent as well). We went to the old England Manor for high tea and their service was so bad compared to here.

Music Villa is with good location, easy to find. The in house breakfast is good. However, there is a slight water overflow when we bath. Overall is good.
