Charming 2BR in Old Southwest

Centrally-located in a quiet, relaxing, and highly desirable neighborhood in Old Southwest. Just blocks from downtown, midtown and easy access to the highway. Walking distance to several amazing local restaurants. Take a stroll in this lovely and safe neighborhood with established trees.

There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is 1 full bathroom. Smart TVs in each bedroom and the living area. Wi-Fi internet. Appliances & cooking amenities including spices, coffee, & tea. For the coffee enthusiast, we have included both a traditional coffee pot and a French press.

1-car garage and extra space in the driveway for another car as well as plenty of free on-street parking.

The washer and dryer is located in the garage area and is shared with the unit on the other side of the duplex. That is the only shared space.

You will have exclusive and unrestricted access to the entire left side of the duplex as well as the garage and washer/dryer area.

We are available by phone, text, and AIRBNB messaging. We are a small business and pride ourselves on excellent communication.

Quiet and safe neighborhood

There is garage, driveway and on-street parking in front of the house.

Ask us about an early check in / late check out for a small fee. If we can accommodate we will!

There are white mini splits on the walls, in the home that have remotes they work as an AC and HEATER.


Washer and dryer are located in the basement please only use the labeled 795 walker washer and dryer. 785 washer and dryers are NOT for use. Thank you

This is a very sweet property in a really lovely neighborhood with lots of restaurants and coffee shops just a 15-20 minute walk away, or a few minutes in the car.

We enjoyed our stay. It's a charming old house with the quirky features you'd expect from an old building, and lovely thoughtful decor. Location was great - very quiet area but close enough to everything. Communication with the host, Sylvia, was quick and helpful. An item we needed was missing and she brought us a replacement within hours. The bed in the front bedroom was very comfortable. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Efficient heating when we needed it on a chilly night. Cute kitchen with plenty of pans and tableware.The listing stated 1.5 baths but it's just the one. I believe it also doesn't mention the laundry is in the shared basement - not a dealbreaker but worth knowing if you have mobility issues. Sofa isn't particularly comfortable for tv watching but the tv itself has an excellent selection of apps and channels so we managed.We would stay here again.

Great character property in quiet neighborhood

We stayed four nights and loved the place. Quiet, comfortable and spacious. It is an older home so be aware that the character comes with a compromise - fewer outlets than a newer home.
