Visiting Friends

Visiting friends for the weekend. Location was convenient. Studio is a converted garage of a single family home. Nothing fancy but serviceable. Positives were location to grocery store and park, and quiet neighborhood. Negatives were lack of kitchen tools for cooking (only had 2 small saucepans, no knives to prep, no mixing bowls, etc), TV had YouTube but buffered badly and there was a serious step up into bathroom.

Decent Place, Could Be Cleaner

The location was very convenient - close to the convention center, coffee shops, etc. That being said, the house was not cleaned to the expected standard (including the bath tub, kitchen utensils, mugs). There was also a strong weed smell throughout the house that infiltrated my clothes and competition gear - which was not ideal. I did address this with the Host, who stated they attempted to get rid of the smell after the last Guest. Unfortunately it still lingered.
