Wonderful stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay in the Mill, it was exactly the kind of property we love, rustic and comfortable. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming, very helpful too. Truly serene and welcoming.

Beautiful house and garden, and welcoming, thoughtful and delightful proprietors. Thoroughly relaxing setting and great to roll out of bed for a twenty second walk to the bakery. A great deal of love has gone into restoring the mill so sympathetically by the owners. We are comfortable with dogs so the owners’ gentle dog presented no problems for us in the very large gardens nor the almost tame silky bantam - Georgette! One request to owners would be to put a padlock on the gate to the main wheel as the ease of access was potentially high risk for children. All in all we would love to return not just for the house and garden but to renew our acquaintance with Veronique and Eric.

We hebben onlangs met onze familie gelogeerd in deze gerestaureerde watermolen. De gastvrouw en gastheer waren enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam, waardoor we ons meteen welkom voelden.Het domein is groot en rustig gelegen op het platteland, midden in een pittoreske streek waar je volledig tot rust komt. Het huisje zelf was proper, met comfortabele bedden.Wij hebben genoten van dit charmante en originele verblijf.

Un long week-end en famille dans un ancien moulin, cadre reposant et chaleureux, nous avons été impressionné par les lieux, extérieurs et intérieurs , rien ne manquait aussi bien en ustensiles de cuisine, qu’en linge, la décoration très bien vue… Un petit mot encore pour saluer nos hôtes, pour leur savoir faire …Merci !!!

Vie de groupe au moulin

Bel espace de vie dans ce moulin renové.Beaucoup de charme, grande table familiale, salle de jeu. Bien équipé, chambres spacieuses.Il ne manquait que le poele ( encore en renovation) pour apporter la touche finale.

Heel mooie locatie met de rivier die door de tuin loopt we hadden prachtig weer voor ons weekentje, het huis is heel mooi ,toch zou er wat opfrissing mogen gebeuren zoals enkele toestellen (vaatwasser,koffiemachine) ook de tuinmeubelen zouden eens mogen vernieuwd worden anders kan ik die locatie enkel maar aanbevelen TOPWEEKEND!!!

Rediscovering the charm of older houses

Old water mill with its preserved mechanism in the dining room (unique). Large bedrooms that can accommodate easily 10 adults and infants. Cosy living room with wood stove. Very large back yard, great playing ground for kids while parents relax preparing BBQ or resting on a hamac, assuming one stays in summer.

Aangenaam verblijf

zeer ruim vakantieverblijf met bijzonder interieur door het mechanisme van de watermolen. Vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw en gastheer. Alles is aanwezig voor een aangenaam verblijf. Grote tuin waardoor de Aa vloeit.

Such a gorgeous property, perfectly suited for us and Ariane & Jean-Luis were amazing hosts. The team loved the house, especially the swim slide under the house! Highly recommend both the hosts and the house. Absolutely loved the mill gearing still inside the house

Heerlijk gastvrij ontvangen!

Prachtige romantisch pand met heerlijke tuin. We verbleven een weekje in de molen samen met een bevriend gezin. Het pand is aangenaam ruim en kamers prima in orde. De gezellige vuurhaard en vele zitplaatsjes in de tuin zorgen ervoor dat je perfect je dag kan vullen op het domein. De mooie omgeving leent zich voor lange of korte wandelingen. De zee is een klein uurtje rijden. De kers op de taart is de gastvrouw Véronique! Ze is gewoon fantastisch. Ze heeft een groot hart voor kinderen en dieren. Ook Happy de hond verdient een vermelding. Ondanks het geblaf van onze honden bleef Happy altijd rustig en gastvrij. Nog eens dikke merci voor alles, Véronique! De families: Buntinx-Van Houtte / Boonen - Camps

Idyllisch decor

Gastvrouw Veronique verwelkomt de gasten met open armen en is zeer vriendelijk en minzaam. Zoek je een kraaknette woning zonder stofnetje links of rechts dan moet je hier niet zijn. Maar het feeërieke decor (oude watermolen) en de aangename tuin maken dit ruimschoots goed. Wij waren er met 8 personen en 2 honden en hebben ons geen seconde verveeld. Ideaal om er te verblijven in deze Corona-tijden. Ook een ideale uitvalsbasis naar de vele plaatsen aan de Opaalkust, maar dat was ons te druk en bijgevolg onveilig. Mooi meegenomen is de bakkerij die op het domein aanwezig is. Zeker een aanrader wie met huisdieren er even tussen uit wil.

Pour ceux qui aiment le rustique et l'authentique. nous avons passé un très agréable weekend en famille. Merci pour l'accueil chaleureux de Véronique qui avait décoré le moulin pour notre Noël avant Noël, quelle gentille et touchante attention . La boulangerie à deux pas de la porte que demander de plus. le temps ne nous aura pas permis de profiter du joli parc, pour une prochaine fois qui sait...
