Booked this facility through Expedia hotel tab, and didn't realize it was AirBnB type until after the checkin time standing in front of the facility. This is an apartment and we had to spend 2 hours to be able to get in because the person on the emergency line didn't want to give up the checkin detail. He repeatedly promised to send en email and then text but none came. Only when we told him about the review we would leave after the stay did he give us the code. The room was marginally cleaned and barely close to how it was pictured on Expedia. I believe the photo of the view from the house was actually taken from the roof top (which I am not sure we have access to). The actual view from the window is just neighbors. We weren't given any explanation about linen service and had to use the same towels for 4 days. The location is great as it's located right in front of the famous church (don't remember its spelling) in downtown. The windows and walls are not sound proofed at all, and we had to endure the noise from somewhere all night one day. It was my first trip in Iceland and I am not sure if it would be about the same with other facilities, but given the amount of money I paid for the room, I would not recommend this facility.
