Staff and service was friendly and great. Only negative was the bed. It was rather uncomfortable sunk in too much on the side and was far to firm in the middle. Had to sleep on the couch most nights.

The staff were all very friendly and polite. And the hotel has very beautiful with lovely amenities. When I go back to Iceland I will definitely stay again! Loved the spa the most , was in there daily!!!

The hotel location was good. Not too far away from good restaurants and things. The bakery downstairs was amazing! When you book the hotel it says there is a hot tub and sauna, but does not tell you it is an additional €30 per person to use it. We picked this hot because of the hot tub and sauna and weren’t expecting to pay additional fees. Not impressed by that. The lady that checked us in wasn’t very friendly either.

This is a lovely hotel with a pleasant ambiance, nice amenities, and a GREAT breakfast bar. My only critique is that the restaurant could offer a few choices that are "low carb" for people who are diabetic.

We had a a balcony and partial harbour view. Clean rooms. Nice common areas. Diverse breakfast options with healthy choices. We enjoyed the spa twice. My only complaint is that parking was only free in a dirt lot down the street. Parking on the street near the hotel was relatively expensive. We found parking in the dirt lot every night, but sometimes it was the last spot available. In summer, I'll bet that parking here would be difficult to find.

This hotel has an industrial feel to the room decor which is a bit stark and possibly not to everyone’s taste. There is a huge building site outside and the room has no net curtains so you’re either overlooked by workmen or in the dark. But that’s the negatives. The location is great. It’s a short walk to the centre or to the old dock area where there are shops and restaurants and various attractions. Plenty of restaurants within a very short walk. You can park nearby on residential streets for free. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The spa area is free to use (book a slot at reception or by email ahead of time) and really surprisingly nice. We went twice and really enjoyed it. The common areas of the hotel have a nice mid century design. If you’re travelling in a group you can hang out there. The breakfast was absolutely fine but not amazing in my opinion and the room is a bit dark because they have to keep the curtains closed due to the building site. Staff are lovely and enjoy chatting about your plans and places they recommend visiting. All in all I would definitely stay here again. It was great value for money for us.
