Fantastic location and adorable structure. Breakfast was good. Only heads up is there is only a taxi stand to drop off luggage, but hotel is walkable from the downtown rental car drop off. Overall - recommend.

Perfect for an overnight stay prior to our cruise. Not luxurious but great in every way. Lots of selections hot and cold for breakfast - in the middle of the action so easy to walk to everything. Hotel staff are amazing - great tips for dining options. And my VIP access included early check in at 8am and 2 free drinks in the hotel bar. Definitely would recommend

Centrally Located in Reykjavik

This hotel is located in the central area of Reykjavik which made it very convienient. The hospitality was great. They were helpful with booking excursions as well as making suggestions restaurants. The hotel main areas and halls are kept clean. My only issue was with the shower in the room. The shower was small and had a thin strip at the bottom. After showering, was ran out onto the bathroom floor.

The staff were all excellent at this property and the location is fantastic. Very close to walk to shopping, food, and museums. The breakfast served at this hotel is fantastic with a wide variety of offerings, including gluten free options. The staff were very attentive, particularly in the breakfast area, and were constantly refreshing items to ensure that nothing ran out and kept everything very clean and welcoming. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good things about the staffing! The room was clean and as advertised, but note that when you have warm weather (as we did during our stay) there is no air conditioning and it gets hot. Only one window was able to be cracked open and it wasn't enough circulation. The hotel would be wise to invest in some fans for rooms if they cannot provide A/C as that would make a big difference in guest comfort. Additionally, there is a strong sulfur smell that comes up from the shower when you use it so that is not pleasant, but it does subside once it dries. The location and staff make this hotel one that I would consider staying at again in the future.

The hotel location was great. The check in process was bad. At first Petr charged me early check in for all 4 days instead of just the first day, I had to be the one to catch this. When he resubmitted it I DID NOT select any option and was questioning Petr that I thought the amount was still too much. While talking to him the payment went thru charging me at a .008145 USD exchange rate instead of .0077. Seems they make a profit by having this 3rd party option as their default or Petr selected it as the option. Hotel cost me additional money. I tried addressing this with the hotel staff and he could not help me. I then tried disputing this with my credit card company and they accepted the hotel claim that the charges were valid. The hotel states it has blackout curtains but there is still a lot of light that gets through the top and bottom of the big window. The hotel also states that it is soundproofed but it clearly is not when there are wooden floors. I constantly heard furniture moving in the rooms around me. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Definitely clean and updated. Right in the heart of the city. Easy walk to restaurants with a nice museum right next door. Heated floor and towel warmer in the bathroom.
