Apartment well situated in City. Good value for money. No issues. Minor concern the main lights in the rooms are not bright enough. Could not get hob to work. Not really an issue as microwave was okay.

GREAT LOCATION! Affordable! This is my 4th visit to Iceland and out of all my stays in Reykjavik, I liked this location the best. Staff friendly and sociable. Can’t wait to come back! The only negative was the shower curtain was gross at the bottom of it.

We had a great stay at Rey Apartments in Reyjavik. Our room was fantastic and we loved having a kitchenette and lounge to use in the mornings and evening. The location was fantastic and easily walkable to the main areas of town. The apartment was clean and check in was super easy. We'd definitely stay with you again!

Quick stop

We needed a one night stay for 5 before heading home the next day. This apartment did the trick. The only thing I would suggest is better communication at check-in. I thought it would be a key code vs having to return to the hotel to get the key… also the fob vs a key code is a bit tough with several people. One person needed to have the fob with them to let anyone in… a code would have allowed more freedom to enter.

The property is very centrally located for walking about the down town area. It was clean and very livable with a kitchenette and a separate lounge area which was great as we were there for five days. It is a bit noisy at night but what would you expect being in the center of the town. Lots of restaurants near by, out favourite were the Thai restaurant just up the road and a great Icelandic restaurant a short five minute walk called Islenski Barinn. We ate at both of them a couple of time. For those traveling for a while, there is a pay laundromat just a couple of minutes walk which was great and payment is by card which made things easy. The only thing we didn’t like to start with is that the apartment is painted in dark colors but we got use to it. Also you need to know that the reception is about a couple of hundred meters fro the apartment and they are 24 hour reception and they will keep your bags in a lock up if you need that service. They also have a restaurant at the main reception for breakfast or dinner, although we did not take up that service.

Apartment was nice. Tight for 3 people. Check in is several blocks from apartment. Room was ready early, staff not personable. Apartment clean, well equipped kitchen, didn’t use only stayed 1 night. Room was quite far into building. Up a few stairs, down a hall, up a few more stairs, down the hall, etc, then up full flight and down the hall. Hard with luggage. Neighborhood was great! Bed comfortable. Would stay again.

Excellent location. Perfectly near everything including a bus stop for tours. Very spacious for our group. I would stay again. Only issues include many many stairs to get to our room as well as a leaking shower. Overall, I would recommend and stay there again.
