Aside for a bit of problems with the door code, handle and the battery that left me waiting outside for a bit I can not fault anyone. The staff via WhatsApp , phone and the guy that repaired my door were kind and polite. The room was not spotless but nothing to complain about. The room, the area, the view was great! Just a suggestion...if you leave some cleaning products and accessories ( broom, mop, etc.) it would make it easier to keep the room even cleaner as there is no service available. Overall i enjoyed my stay and would definitely suggest to others. P. S. A small microwave would also help.😉

New years in Reykjavik

We spent 2 nights here over new years. The check in was easy and location is very convenient for walking around the city. No issues getting parking. The apartment is quite cozy. The only complaint we had was the pull out sofa. If as very uncomfortable and hard for my children to sleep on. Maybe would be ok for a smaller child but that would be it. Other than that we had a great stay

Great stay. Very convenient and close to all activities. Parking can be a hassle as there is no dedicated spot - people living around the building seem a bit testy about renters. Our entry code was sent to us ahead of time but was not ‘initiated’ so did not work - had to call and get a new one impromptu. A bit unexpected.

This was a very central location which made walking very easy to shop and visit different local points of interest. The locks on the front door and the apartment door were very difficult and frustrating to operate which caused us considerable anxiety. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the restroom and no light above the kitchen area. Communication was difficult because it was hard to find the correct email address for the host. This place was OK in a pinch and rather expensive.

This would have been a great stay— the apartment was well appointed and in a very walkable part of the city. But I was traveling alone and in the morning someone typed in the key code to the room and started to open the door. I came to the door and said “who is it?” But the person never answered and dashed down th hallway and exited the building. This made me feel pretty unsafe there and unsafe leaving my things in the room when I went out. If it was staff then I think it’s important they identify themselves to guests if there’s a mistaken entry, and if not staff then I think the door codes are not very secure which is concerning. Ultimately this ruined my stay and I would not stay there again.
