This place looks exactly like the listing, and when we arrived there was great and fast communication with the host. However, there was a serious ant and sewage problem. The bathroom had such an awful smell that we avoided using it and kept the door closed at all times. There were ants in the bed, which forced us to sleep on the couch for 3 out of 5 nights, and they were also around the couch and kitchen area. When we brought these issues to the host, she said she would look into it. That same day, the bathroom window was left open (which brought in even more bugs), and ant repellent was left for us to use ourselves. After that, we were completely ghosted. Unfortunately, this really took away from the vacation experience. Instead of relaxing, we were constantly stressed about ants getting into everything and didn’t feel comfortable in the space at all. It’s too bad because the place has great potential, but the issues weren’t properly addressed.
