All's good except that smell

Pros: Excellent everyday house keeping service, which I have never found in any other apartment rentals.
Cons: Only one thing. Get rid of that smell.
Location: Location is remote, but ideally located to explore Ribeira Grande. The Praia De Santa Barbara beach is less than 5 minutes by car.
The Good: 1. Very nice resort with Swimming pool, Gardens, Children's play area and friendly cats. 2. Excellent everyday house keeping service, which I have never found in any other apartment rentals. 3. Well secured with free car parking. 4. Onsite buffet breakfast available, if needed. Not so good: 1. This place is a bit remote. You must have your own transportation. There are absolutely no services in the vicinity, which we personally didn't care, because most of the day we were out and on return we bought all that was needed . The bad: 1. In-spite of high standard of cleanliness, our apartment had a constant damp, musty smell, which I could not figure out why. Could be it was just this apartment.
