Outside is an enclosed lawned garden with terraced area. This is such a peaceful spot, with beautiful views that go on for miles with nothing but bird song to listen. The perfect place to sit back, relax and re-charge your batteries.



Out and about there are an abundance of things to do, with walking routes straight from the door and cycle tracks too. Visit the market town of Richmond or the the pretty town of Barnard Castle with its castle ruins and riverside walks. Bowes Museum is worth a visit too. The streets are lined with a wide array of independent shops, galleries and tea shops, and a good selection of pubs and restaurants can be found here too.
