Surrounded by wooded Jura hills, rocks and bends in the Altmühl river, the town offers a picturesque backdrop and a mixture of history, nature and enjoyment. The Altmühltal cycle path and the Altmühltal panorama trail lead directly through Riedenburg and make the hearts of cyclists and hikers beat faster.
