Good situation and short distance to several interesting places. Silent a the windows were on a quiet side street.

Excellent hotel, perfect location.
Pros:Location, rooms, staff.
Cons:Kitchen staff, which served breakfast one morning, could benefit from some additional training or supervision.
Location:Quiet street in the Old town, huge shopping centre is nearby. Lots of restaurants and tourist attractions are also within short walking distance.
This is a gem in the heart of Riga. I'm staying there with my family few times a year during my regular visits to Riga.
Clean, comfortable rooms, and fantastic staff. All for reasonable price.
I can recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful staff, room and location!
We stayed 4 nights over New Year in a superior room. When we checked in we were given a lovely large room on the 4th floor. I'd seen some of the superior rooms with lovely brick walls on the website so I asked if one was available. The lovely man on reception showed me 2 rooms to choose from on the 3rd floor. They have much more character but a little smaller than those on the floor above. We went for room 306 with the bricks! Lovely quiet room even over New Year when I thought it might be noisier. The only thing missing is a kettle and cups etc but overall the room is wonderful. Breakfast is good with the expected choices. Great location - writhing 10 minutes walking now of all of the sites.

Absolutely perfect, centrally located, friendly staff, great breakfast/bar, clean rooms and all for a nice price.

Saavuttaessa Hotellille, hotelli oli kiinni ja ovessa oli lappu mihin soittaa. Puhelimeen vastasi hyvin huonosti englantia puhuva henkilö ja pitkän sähläämisen jälkeen selvisi, että hotelli on korvattu toisella hotellilla(Royal Square Hotel). Tämä hotelli oli heikko, henkiläkuntaa oli 2-3 henkilöä kaikkiaan, eivät puhuneet juurikaan englantia. Aamiaista ei ollut ensimmäisenä aamuna, vaan myöhemmin kerrottiin että pitää ruksia listasta mitä haluaa huoneeseen (heikko aamiainen). Siivousta huoneessa ei ollut ollenkaan 3 päivänä. Huoneen avainkortit lakkasi toimimasta, eikä kukaan ollut halukas tekemään asialle mitään. Kaikenkaikkiaan hotellikokemus oli huono.

Loistava sijainti. Aamiainen kuului hintaan tosin kahvi oli pahaa ja sänky loppuunnussittu.

Sijainti hyvä mutta huone pieni ja epäsiistit kokolattiamatot. Aamupala erittäin suppea. Ilmastointi rikki.

Huone oli muuten ihan perus hyvä, siivouksessa paljon parannettavan varaa. Mm. Käytetty vesi lasi siirrettiin yöpöydältä takaisin puhtaiden riviin sellaisenaan, ja hiustuppoja löytyi sieltä täältä.
Aamiainen oli surkea esitys, lämpimäksi tarkoitetut ruoat olivat lähes kylmiä ja kahvi pahaa. Valikoima oli melko pieni, mutta se ei haittaisi jos se olisi tehty hyvin.
