External Description



Villa Poggio Cherici is a historic villa built in the early 17th century by the Pepi family, and it is located in the countryside of Rignano sull'Arno, just half an hour from Florence.

The property stands on a hill from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the Arno Valley.

Immersed in a well-kept garden with lawn, the villa boasts a large pool (12 x 5 m, depth from 1.2 to 3 m), open from 1st May to 30th October. The pool is surrounded by an enchanting orchard and is equipped with deck chairs and parasol.

Inside the garden you will find a family chapel, a dining area (with tables, chairs and barbecue) and some lounge areas (with benches, armchairs and hammocks for relaxing).

At guests' disposal also a ping pong table and a private parking for 8-10 cars.



Internal Description



Villa Poggio Cherici is spread over 3 floors, and can accommodate up to 14 people, has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The property has provided with Internet Wifi and mosquito nets in the bedrooms. Pets are allowed on request.



Ground floor: The ground floor is dedicated to the living area as follows: a living room with sofa and armchairs, a large dining room with a table for 8-10 people, an eat-in kitchen equipped with: breakfast table for 6 people, stove, fireplace, coffee maker, toaster, oven and refrigerator. Afterwards we find a large study-library, a laundry room and a pantry with ironing room (ironing board + iron).

A bathroom with shower completes the floor.



First floor: The upper floor, accessible by climbing the stairs, houses the sleeping area as follows: 1 double canopy bed and ensuite bathroom with tub, 1 twin with ensuite bathroom with shower and 2 double bedrooms. We then find a large bathroom with tub, a toilet, a wardrobe, a living room-study and a tea room.



Second floor: The top floor consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 double bedroom with private sitting room, a playroom and a bathroom with shower.

Prices and conditions



Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity); house, garden and pool maintenance; Internet Wifi.



Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (650.00€); extra guest (15th person): 70.00€ per day. Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).



Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 650.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.

This villa offers its guests an outdoor pool, barbecue grills, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
