Welcome to Solitude! A cabin in the woods that was designed to bring the natural world into the comfort of the interior. Located on 3 wooded acres, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Solitude embodies the essence of simple living.

The peacefulness, privacy, and cleanliness of the home were definite highlights.The cabin was easy to find, and the location made it simple to explore the surrounding areas. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the hot tub—perfectly placed right outside the primary bedroom—made slipping in and out incredibly convenient and added such a nice touch to the experience.The owner was wonderful to work with and very accommodating throughout the process. We had such a great time that we’re already looking at the calendar and planning our next visit.It’s easy to see why this cabin is rated so highly.

Was very clean and had a perfect view of Shenandoah River.Bed was vm very comfy, large full bathroom & great four person hot tub on the front porch overlooking a great view of the river. Even with it being 90 at night we enjoyed the hot temps of the hot tub.Can’t wait to come back in the spring when everything is green. Highly recommend this cabin. This place was fantastic, I would actually say it was better than advertised. It was clean, cute, and private. My only complaint is I think the bedding policy is unusual, with that said it was not a big deal at all. I would highly recommend this spot and plan to stay again.
