This hotel is an oasis of peace and quiet in sharp contrast with Interlakken itself. Every evening was like taking a beautiful deep breath after a day in the popular tourist areas. It’s a charming boutique hotel with a wonderful view of the lake. The property is located near the railway, so the mountain-view rooms can be a bit noisy during the day, but trains don’t run at night. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, I would recommend choosing a lake-view room for the best experience.

Hotel Alpina is a charming, wonderful little boutique hotel with beautiful views and very convenient to bus and train routes. The hotel was quiet and clean! The bed was comfortable. We loved sitting outside and looking over the lake and mountains. Lovely staff as well! I would definitely stay here again!!

Anne, our host, was very friendly and helpful to show us around and give suggestions. We loved everything, the quietness of the town. The breakfast was great. It would be a very good choice especially if you travel by car. The town is a bit away from interlaken and there aren’t many dining options in town. However, it still worked out for us by bus or train if you plan well with their schedules.
