Check-in is painfully slow (very long line)- but Bruno Barroso went above and beyond to help me with all my issues. He went above and beyond. Breakfast is amazing - great coffee - good choices and I love the make your own fresh juice. Bed is comfy and the shower was hot and strong. Made me happy. Rooms are a little small depending on what you book. Very clean. Big criticism- the air freshener they PUMP into the lobby is horrid and way too strong. I really feel like I was being gassed and them employees probably shouldn’t be subjected to that.

Lovely property for the price and right opposite Copacabana beach. Two observations would be, it took about 30 minutes to check in, and it was a slow checkout process also. Speeding this process up would mean the venue would be perfect. Breakfast had a lot of variety but during busy times plates and cups had run out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating!

The breakfast room is too small for such a large hotel and the check in/out desk and area should be bigger as it fills up with people checking in/out or making inquiries (it gets a little chaotic). These are minor things that maybe they can improve. I would stay here again. We had a view of the sea but part of the beach front tower of the hotel blocked the view plus our tower was too far from the beach so the ocean view didn’t matter. Everything worked in the room including hot water (well labeled!) and pressure.

We arrived early after a 12-hour flight and were advised to return at 2pm for check-in. After going out for a walk and lunch, we came back at the requested time only to find that our room was still not ready, and we had to wait another hour. The room allocated to us was unfortunately next to the cleaners’ storage, which made it very noisy in the early mornings with constant banging doors. To make matters worse, we experienced insects in the room. One morning, I woke up to find the shower full of them. I reported this to reception (with photos), but nothing was done, and I had to remove them myself just to take a shower. I also felt that the reception staff were careless and not very friendly, which was disappointing. Breakfast was acceptable but with limited selection, and the pool was both small and very cold. The only positives were the hotel’s location, as well as the professionalism of the door staff and waiters. Overall, this was not the experience I expected, and I would not return.
