This is the worst hotel I've even been to (and I do travel a lot). Breakfast was OK and the staff was friendly, but the property is extremely old, dirty, smelly and in horrible condition. The surroundings are just like the hotel, plus a lot of beggars and pick pockets (you should totally avoid staying in the downtown area of Rio).
Ruined walls, dirty and unpainted.

My experience at Hotel Atlântico Tower was very disappointing, especially during check-out. I had a night flight and asked if I could wait in the lobby or use some of the facilities after checking out, as I had a long wait ahead. I wasn't even asking for a room — just somewhere to stay comfortably while I was still a guest in the country. I was also willing to consume something inside the hotel (food, drinks, etc.). Despite this, the staff were completely unhelpful and even rude in their tone. They didn’t offer any support or alternatives and made it very clear I wasn’t welcome to stay. To make things worse, they charged me to store my suitcase — something that many hotels offer as a courtesy. Their customer service was seriously lacking, and they didn’t seem to know how to handle simple guest requests. Also, during my stay, I had asked for my room to be cleaned, but when I came back later, it was exactly as I had left it — dirty and untouched. No explanation, no adjustment, nothing. It felt like they simply didn’t care about guest comfort at all. This was the last hotel I stayed at in Rio de Janeiro, and unfortunately, it left a very bad impression just before leaving the country. For the price they charge, I expected much better service and a more professional attitude. I do not recommend Hotel Atlântico Tower, and I really hope they improve their customer service and basic hospitality standards.

Quarto espaçoso, um pouco de barulho a noite, banheiro grande, cama confortável, limpeza deixa muito a desejar. Tinha sabonete e embalagens de shampoo e creme de outra hospedagem no banheiro. Café da manhã razoável… tinha uma boa variedade de frutas, salgadinhos e frios. não tinha café e demoraram para repor, o suco da reposição fraco. No geral, uma opção razoável em relação ao custo da hospedagem.

Passei 5 dias as camareiras trocaram as toalhas apenas 1 vez, limpava por cimas as demais vezes, não lavaram o banheiro, o chão era passado apenas a vassoura e os móveis do quarto cheio de poeira, porta do banheiro quebrada, a tv era pequena para um quarto “luxo” solicitei uma cama de casal juntaram duas camas de solteiro um absurdo, e o velhinho do café da manhã na portaria mal educado e grosso tanto comigo como com as demais pessoas, piscina e sauna são legais.

Com certeza, o melhor do hotel são os funcionários, todos muito prestativos. A localização é centro, então toda atenção é necessária, mas perto de muitas coisas. Café da manhã, bom. Se você precisa de um lugar com wi-fi, não vá, não funciona e esse é um ponto negativo que me fará não retornar, pois precisa trabalhar e não consegui. Não funciona nem no celuar.
