There was mold everywhere! Even after moving rooms there was still mold. Major health concern. Despite the conditions, the staff was amazing and always went above and beyond to help us. Certainly the hotel’s saving grace.

The Hotel Martinique Copacabana is in a great location. It's just behind a beach front apartment so it's a stone's throw away from the famous beach. It's also a short bus or UBER ride away from all the major tourist attractions: Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain etc. It's generally a comfortable enough hotel but the rooms are small and the bathrooms, in particular were extremely small First and foremost, the staff is what makes this hotel better than average.
