Figgy Cottage, an annex consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with electric oven, gas hob, microwave fridge (with ice box). For entertainment there is a TV with Freeview and a selection of books. The bedroom is a double. There is a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower and basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Sorry, no smoking. One small well-behaved pet accepted, please contact owner to discuss pet arrangements. Please note: This property does not accept changeovers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time. Return year after year to Figgy Cottage. Please note: The shower room has a compact layout, and access to the toilet requires the door to be mostly closed, this space may not be ideal for guests who require extra room or assistance when using the bathroom. Please note: The upstairs bedroom has full ceiling height in the center, with gentle slopes at the sides that add character to the room. Just take a little care near the edges to avoid any bumps. Please note: Soft furnishings and decorative touches may vary slightly from those shown in the photos due to internal renovations, but the overall style and comfort remain the same. This property does not accept same day arrivals on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays during term time, though you may depart on one of these days.



The Neighborhood:

Dominated by its imposing cathedral, the historic city of Ripon has a great deal to offer visitors - the Cathedral with its 1300 year old crypt, the Yorkshire Law & Order Museums, various craft markets, an International Music Festival and Ripon Races; not to mention the many beautiful riverside and canal walks. Even the famous Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden are within walking distance along the banks of the River Skell and it is just a few miles to the popular Lightwater Valley Theme Park. The historic houses of Norton Conyers and Newby Hall & Gardens are also close by. If you do feel the need to get in the car and explore, Ripon is ideal for touring both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, not to mention Harrogate, Knaresborough and York too!
