The space
The Moss Family Reunion and Retreat Lodge offers the perfect retreat for large families and corporate and church groups, and serves as an ideal base camp for excursions to Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. There is plenty of space - both
indoors and out - for everyone to relax and unwind. The property features ample parking, a large patio and yard, a small indoor private heated pool (available for an additional $150 per stay), a playground, an outdoor fire pit, a premium barbecue grill, tons of outdoor seating for outdoor dining, and a small kid-friendly zipline. Indoors is a well-stocked, recently renovated kitchen, two fridges, a large eating area (enough room inside to seat 22+), a game/theater room, and plenty of room for outdoor gear. There’s also a separate den area for office work, but we suggest you do as little of that as possible! An adjacent RV pad is available in spring, summer, and fall (110 v and water hook-up, but no septic), and there’s plenty of nearby parking just off the county road for large trailers. For outdoor enthusiasts, awaiting in the summer months are world-class fly fishing and white water rafting on the South Fork of the Snake River, scenic hiking, mountain biking, motorcycle/ATV trails, and two large nearby reservoirs for boating and water sports (Ririe -15 minutes away, and Palisades-30 minutes away). In the winter, enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and sledding right outside your door, or head to the nearby ski hill (Kelly Canyon), about 20 minutes away, and enjoy a relaxing soak at nearby Heise Hot Springs (open year-round) on your way back. Heise also includes a large summer pool and water slide, ziplining, a 9-hole executive golf course, and a year-round pizza parlor. Renowned Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee Ski resorts are both less than 90 minutes away, and the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone National Park is a wonderful day trip. The Upper and Lower Palisades Lakes make for a beautiful full-day or overnight hike (6-7 hours out and back to the Upper Lake). Don’t forget to try Big Jud’s in nearby Archer for its
world-famous larger-than-life one or two-pound burgers and delicious shakes, or Rainey Creek Country Store in Irwin (25 minutes away in beautiful Swan Valley) for its famous square ice
cream cones! The Farmhouse Table at the 7N Ranch near Heise offers a mouthwatering dinner/lunch and Saturday/Sunday brunch menu. For evening entertainment, catch a western dinner show at the Mountain River Ranch near Heise or a melodrama at Pierre’s Theater in
Victor (less than 50 minutes away in scenic Teton Valley). For early risers, you will be blown away by the spectacular sunrise over the mountains to the east. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, the Moss Family Reunion and Retreat Lodge is the ideal year-round destination.

Other things to note
-You may see a couple of outdoor cats that live on the property to help keep mice away. They may come into the garage to eat, but generally keep to themselves.
-Depending on the time of year there may be some house flies and mosquitoes. Keeping the doors closed will help limit the number that get into the house.
-Please be aware that Idaho's weather can be unpredictable. In winter months, we recommend a 4X4 vehicle to access the property. There is always a chance of snow blocking the drive, but maintenance will work to clear it and limit disruption to your plans.
-Enjoy our heated indoor pool, available by request for $150. Perfect for year-round relaxation in a private, climate-controlled space. Book in advance to enhance your stay!
-Each Adult (18yo and older) must sign the Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk form to engage in any activities on the property. The link to the form will be sent through messages on
