Miserable Night

When we stepped into the entrance the odor of marijuana! We had ring the doorbell to get someone to come to check us in. He barely spoke English! The room was hot and stunk. NO Hot Water for shower! Air conditioner kept going on and off all night and it was not on auto!! The beds were uncomfortable my husband was unable to sleep after driving 13 hours! We will never stay at another Super 8

Very disappointed. The first room on the first floor (ground floor) we were assigned was not at all like the photographs on your website and the window would not lock shut. I went to reception and showed them the photographs on your website and asked to be moved. We were moved to another room upstairs which was better but could not lock the door from the outside, you could just push the door and gain entry into the room but could lock the door from the inside. Someone cooked curry and the whole hotel smelt of it. The area for breakfast was next to the reception desk.

The continental breakfast was a joke. It was basically food from a vending machine. There was no juice, milk, eggs, bread, fruits, cereals… nothing but cold coffee, honey buns and squished danishes from the $1 store, a few packs of instant oatmeal and a few mini oranges on a dirty counter that everyone checking in or walking by touches. Big parties out back during the night, felt unsafe walking to my car. Definitely not worth $100 a night!

Very convenient, just off the highway coming into town. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband booked on Expedia. When I arrived, I changed my room from 1 to 2 beds to accommodate my sister who stayed with me. The room wasn't cleaned as there wasn't a change order in the system that the previous guest left early and housekeeping wasn't notified. Also, there was a new employee on the front desk and he was dealing with some computer/software issues. We waited no more than 15 minutes for the room to be tidied up and the new employee handled the everything very well! Housekeeping was very apologetic but we told them things happen and they did a good job cleaning well and in quick fashion. Job well done! It appears that the property may be under new management and it looks as if there is fresh paint. Our real complaint is that there are no towel bars in the bathroom and I would very much like to see all hotel/motel chains make putting a handrail or handgrip in all showers. I would also like to see maybe a little outdoor greenspace during the good weather times. If you're staying longing than a night or two, it's a nice feature. Air conditioner worked. Didn't take advantage of breakfast, but that was by choice. Pretty sure the beds weren't queen but I'm used to a king bed so my sense of size may be off a bit. I'd stay there again. I get to Riverton for family 2-4 times a year.

Your motel supervisor is top notch! Very friendly and whenever I needed anything, she was on it. She was also working her tail off whenever I saw her! You have an excellent employee there!

First room stunk very badly. They provided a different room, that room, the lock didn't work on the door so anyone could enter without a key. third room smelled better but there were used towels in bathroom and it was difficult to open the door from the outside and from the inside. cancelled our stay both nights.
