We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were GREAT and met our needs whenever something came up. There was a strong smell in the suite we were in but we were able to move to a new room when we requested a change. The AC kept up with the heat and humidity, but there was damp smell in the bed side of the suite when it was running. Staff cleaned the filters, and even though that didn’t seem to take care of the matter completely, if we kept that unit off when we weren’t there, that helped. The breakfast served was good but the same each day - eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit and bakery items. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The hallways, lobby and common areas were all dated, drab and did not match the exterior. However the rooms were nice. The rooms had a unique floorplan that I have never experienced before but it worked. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had hot water and good water pressure. Overall, happy with the stay

Our home away from home

We love this place. My husband and I are new to Virginia and house hunting and have stayed in about 5 hotels. This is our favorite and we decided to stick with it. The staff is awesome, the rooms are clean and comfortable,the are has a lot to offer and the breakfast is always good.

This hotel offers a lot of room for a decent price. The air-conditioning was not working in the sitting room part of our suite, which made it uncomfortable. Full disclosure...I did not request to change rooms, so I can not comment on how accommodating they were. All in all, a clean space to spend a couple of nights.
