Perfect Beach Stay

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The location of the hotel is perfect. All of the rooms face half moon Beach and so have a beautiful view. Right next to the hotel is sundowners restaurant which can be a bit loud in the evening but usually quiets down by 10 PM and they have yoga every morning at 9 AM. Next to that is an excellent dive shop. It is also very near the water taxi stand. Behind the hotel is the main road, which is filled with small shops and restaurants. We were especially impressed that the hotel restaurant as well as many restaurants nearby offered vegetarian food. Our meals at the hotel were excellent and so were the gin cocktails. The hotel also has lounge chairs with cushions and provided us with beach towels and even a beach bag to use during our stay. Our room had a coffee machine and fridge and unlimited drinking water was provided. In addition, the hotel staff were extremely accommodating. They even offered to hold onto our luggage for us for several days while we travelled to the mainland, and they arranged to have our luggage delivered to us at the airport so we could catch our flight home.

The room was beautiful and clean with a gorgeous view of the bay from the outside deck. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. We liked the fact that we were in the town of West End where there were multiple dining and shopping options and snorkling on the reef immediately offshore in Half Moon Bay was wonderful.

Great location and rooms...I guess being there during the new year is not recommended. The hotel was busy with the extended family of the owner ...it felt like in a kids play ground or public park.

Definitely a step above for the area. You can tell they focus on service and above average food and amenities. I liked the location a lot and having the beach/bay right there as well as dive shop next door was very convenient. One thing that was frustrating was there were no hooks to be found in the room! Not even the bathroom. This makes finding places to hang towels and other items (especially w family of 4) frustrating. Also minimal to no storage and only one luggage rack. Had to live “out of suitcase” all week. For such an upscale property this is a notable and poorly managed portion of a guest’s stay. Regardless I would stay there again for all of the other reasons. Kudos to the entire team for their devotion and hospitality!

Perfect location! There are a lot of shops and restaurants that are walkable. The beach directly outside of the hotel is gorgeous. The hotel rooms are up to date and comfortable. I was able to sleep as well in that bed as I do in my own bed which is not easy!

The Beach House Boutique Hotel was an excellant option, the room was as pictured online. They provide accommodation for transportation for several things and you have access to taxi's and water taxi's a few steps from the hotel. There are many food options and activities down the street. It was a pleasure to wake up with the view of the beach every morning! The staff was WONDERFUL, they always greeted you with a smile and provided great recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was outstanding, absolutely zero complaints about them. The property was well-maintained and in a great location. There is no pool which we did not realize when we booked (our fault, not theirs), but we prefer to swim in the sea anyway. One day it was a little rough in the half moon bay so we chose to get a day pass at one of the resorts in West Bay. It was nice but I preferred West End. We will go back. Highly recommend.

Fabulous place

Paola and Jorge go above and beyond to fill your every need. They are absolutely lovely. The food in the restaurant is exceptional and the room was perfect including a super comfy bed. Highly reccomend staying here.
