Bathroom was original to the age of building, black mold in tub, towels were see through, A/C was incredibly loud, fan in bathroom was startling loud, on fourth floor and all sound from street came in, loudest hotel I’ve ever been at. When I complained about the mold I was met with the response “what would you like me to do”. I had to ask more than once for housekeeping to clean my room. All tables and counters covered in thick dust and the carpet was sticky. Breakfast was very basic, nothing like advertised. It was across the street from the clinic we were there for, but I would never stay there again.

We like the fact that it is connected to Mayo Clinic. We have been visiting annually for the past 3 years and this is always our go to property. While they have improved in some areas, like adding breakfast, they have fallen in some areas, like quality of the rooms.

Staff was not very helpful. The location to Mayo Clinics via the subway was the only feature that justified price. The hotel was dated and run down, the only bar restaurant closed permanently the first night there. Parking was too tight. Would ONLY stay here again because of subway access.

I’ve been staying here since March of 2009. This was one of my most unsatisfied stay!! We got to our room and went to use the bathroom and there was a long streak of bowls going down on the front of the stool!!! Then my husband went to the air on and the filters were on the floor and they were so dirty!! He cleaned them a little and put them in and it didn’t matter cause the air was working very well anyway!!!

Bad shape

Huge crack in the window, instead of replacing the window it was caulked back together, the frame of the window was bend, there was a draft coming through the window from the bend window frame, could hear every noise outside including the construction right outside the building at 6am. It was like we had the window open. Bedding had black fuzz all over it like it hadn’t been changed out from the previous guest. The entire hotel needs to be updated and not because of appearance, but because of the shape the building and rooms are in.

Older hotel and looks it - rather shabby room. Could use USB outlets and easily accessed outlets in general. However if you're just there to visit Mayo across the street, the location can't be beat - you can go to the "subway" level and walk over without even going outside - very convenient during a Minnesota winter. All in all, it's fine - just make sure to bring your own usb power adapter.

This hotel is so convenient if you are a patient at Mayo. Once you park your car you don't have to move it again until you leave. Plenty of shopping in the complex as well as meals.
