The room had a constant damp feel and smell to it. Housekeeping didn’t clean when they came - they swapped towels and took out the trash that we collected and set by the door, but beds were never made and sheets were never changed. We did see the same housekeeper (and only one) still cleaning rooms past 8 PM, so not sure if she was alone, had help, what the story was there - but she commented in passing about her long day. The fridge froze our food and drinks. The walls, doors, woodwork, and carpets were downright filthy. My husband photographed a cup and garbage under the bed when we arrived. The keys lost programming every other day. The back entrance door was either never locked, never closed, or had to be pulled manually to close. Lobby furniture & area was pretty gross. We were charged twice for our room for the entire stay, and although they fixed it when I reviewed the folio at check out it was a big inconvenience, took too much time, and the desk clerk couldn’t help me and told me to go ask her manager in his office. We stayed one night at this hotel in the past and it wasn’t terrible so we figured we would have the same experience this time. This trip, We stayed 7 nights this trip but considered leaving early. The nicest thing about the property was the large green space where we could take our dog to run and potty. Overall for the money and experiences at other La Quinta’s, we expected better than what we got. Very disappointing - do better LaQuinta Rochester!

Best place ever

Great breakfast 😋 This hotel is GREAT. Everything is nice and wheelchair friendly. I especially love the warm pool and hot tub. Half the price of hotels in the same area, yet twice as nice. Stay here often. Hair dryers, ironing boards, coffee pot, fridge, microwave...all in your room. If you forget a toiletry item, they supply it free.

I didn't like much of anything. Was told no pets so I had to board my Frenchie, was given a room that was already occupied by a nude person. 2nd room had 2 broken lamps, no bulbs, no shower head. To top it off I kept getting charges of over $400 on my credit card for cancellation fee and room fee even tho I was at hotel and didn't cancel!

We only stayed for an hour as the pool area was so toxic it triggered my lung disease. The desk clerk told me that we would get a 50% refund and he would ask the manager to facilitate that.

Arrived at almost midnight and the clerk was slow and had me do the check in again despite completing the online version hours prior. Clerk asked if we wanted the two rooms on first or second floor and decided to place our party on separate floors without asking if it’s okay. When I asked for it to be fixed clerk said it couldn’t be fixed and “it was fine because there were nearby stairs”. First floor room had trash under bed and in room, old harsh shower head, bathroom faucet wasn’t secured to countertop and was entirely moveable. The door had a crack in it and the lock was loose. Both rooms had curtains that didn’t fully close and were water stained. Windows had mold and condensation. Second floor room couldn’t get regulated on temperature, the bed skirt was stained and had holes. Bathroom tub creaked and we wondered if it would fall through floor. The room and linens smelled like smoke to the point I felt the need to re-shower before leaving so I didnt drive home in the smell. We came to the hotel based on prior recent reviews and were very disappointed.
