Obviously I am a price shopper or else I would not be staying at Red Roof Inn. It was not perfect but not much is these days. It was a clean, warm room with comfortable bed. Very appreciative of that. Nice policy of first dog free for first night. Nice little well lit dog walk area. Seemed pretty safe. I think we’ll Be back as this exit as is our 1/2 way point of trip.

I was charged twice, once through Expedia and then again on site and when this was pointed out the next morning with images from my banking app they denied it. Our initial room assigned had the door open (not unlocked but OPEN) and the beds unmade.

The listing on the internet said newly renovated, the sign out front said newly renovated but, itw was not newly renovated! The air conditioner was falling apart, the bathroom door looks like somebody was trapped in there for several days- scratches all over it and the girl at the front desk had no idea how to help us with our f***** up television. We thought this was going to be a good choice because we just stayed at a Red Roof Inn in Wytheville and were super happy with the room. If we were supposed to stay there for longer than one night we would have moved.
