The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Your check out time is at 10am.
Please start one load of laundry (towels), start the dishwasher. The local housekeeping team is happy to handle all the rest including changing out the bedding for the next guest.
Lock all the doors and clean off the outdoor grill if you happen to have used it. We appreciate your decision to let us host you, and hope we’ve been able to meet your expectations.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Events require owner prior approval and end by 10pm. Respectful noise level at all times, quiet time required after 10pm. No filming or recording.
Unreported dogs may incur pet charge of $600. Monitor fire pit when lit at all times. Monitor kids at all times.
Only overnight guests allowed on property, guests not to exceed 6 at all times. Any guests over reserved number will incur a $100/night charge.

The property was cute and there was ample space for your dog, hot tub was warm overall it was pretty good experience , but the beds were the most uncoI’ve ever slept on so when you can’t sleep when you’re on a vacation for four days, it makes it pretty miserable very, very stiff hard beds and the house is very wonky and crooked. You could put a ball on the floor and the rolled from one into the other, you could visibly see the house look like it was breaking and half almost other than that it was a pretty good experience. That’s the reason for the 3 star review

Super Awesome Spot Near The Beach

We loved our stay at Vaya Con Dios! It is small and cozy, but that worked out great for our small family. It is a short (3-5 min) walk to the beach. The provided beach wagon, towels, and chairs were awesome and the outdoor shower was a lifesaver! Our kids loved the hot tub and fire pit and had a great time using the PS5 and watching Netflix and Disney+ on the TV. The beds were all quite comfortable! The kitchen is small, but included almost everything we needed. (FYI no dishwasher so be ready to wash your own dishes.) The tub/shower was a bit complicated to use, but it was adequate for a shorter stay. Jen was an awesome host and really easy to work with. The check in/out process was really slick. Rockaway is such a cute town and we absolutely loved staying here for our family vacation!

Cute and cozy

Came here with our 4 kids and 1 dog. The beds were super clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels, dishes, coffee available. Also, chairs and a wagon for the beach, which saved us! The only thing we didn’t realize before booking was that there wasn’t a dishwasher, or disposal. We had to hand wash all our dishes, and with 4 kids, that was a lot! (Usually I’m not looking to see if there is a dishwasher when booking cause it’s typically standard) Other than that, the host was very communicative and kind. The backyard was a huge bonus for us, and we spent most our time out there! The kids and dog loved it too!

Clean and Cozy Beach House

This was the perfect place for our family’s weekend Oregon coast trip. Great location and the home was clean and functional. Communication with owner was great and made us feel at home. Recommended this place for an amazing coast trip.

Wonderful Getaway!

Went with my daughter for a pre-holiday getaway. We had a wonderful time made especially great due to this lovely home. Everything was great: all the amenities we could want for our stay! Jen, the host, was beyond kind, very communicative and ensured we had everything we needed for a fabulous stay!

Lovely Beach House

This place was cute and comfortable. We loved the decor and the backyard was fun for entertaining. Jen was very accommodating and had a ton of recommendations for the town and the surrounding areas. The location was great too because it was few minutes from the beach. My group had a great stay!

Beautiful backyard but...

The fenced, lit backyard is wonderful, with a hot tub and fire-pit with benches. The firewood is provided but no kindling so we needed to buy some from a market. There is a long table and chairs and a solar outdoor shower. The shower was not warm the whole time we were there. This brings me to the problem with this property. It is listed as a two bathroom house. There is only one bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub/ shower combo. The other "bathroom" is the outdoor solar shower (cold) and no toilet or sink. This is not a bathroom and should not be advertised as such. This became a problem with 4 adults, one of which needed the bathroom frequently. Also we are older and the tub was very difficult to manage. There are no grab bars or anything to hold onto. The bedrooms were fine and we had the space we needed. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were hard. The kitchen is small and has no real kitchen table, just bar stool for the tiny island. There is no dishwasher. The refrigerator was not working properly and had ice on the back wall. It froze things in the back area. The was only one tiny ice tray, not nearly enough for 4 adults. The kitchen has the basics needed and even has forks for roasting marshmallows. There is a nice Keuric machine and ample coffee and cream. The washer and dryer were nice. That said, the house is two blocks from beautiful Rockaway beach, a quick walk. There is a wagon to haul the provided 4 chairs, but it is difficult to pull on the sand.

Summer stay

Great destination for a stay during summer time. Great location for walking to the beach and all locations around town. House was well equipped to come back and have a relaxing stay and meal after hitting the beach. I would absolutely visit this property again. Very welcoming and easy, enjoyable stay!!!

Five star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ stay!

Our time at Vaya Con Dios Beach Hideaway was absolutely awesome! I wish I could rate this stay more than five stars. This beachside rental had it all - an amazing private backyard, the best host ever, and a prime location right by the beach. Let's talk about that backyard. It was seriously fantastic. You could tell she put a lot of work into making it fantastic. We spent so many evenings chilling by the firepit, making delicious s'mores, and just enjoying dinner and the good vibes under the starry sky. It was the perfect spot for creating memories with friends and family. The host was top-notch. Super friendly and always there to help, they made sure we had the best time possible. From great recommendations for local eats to ensuring we had everything we needed, they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Having the beach right across the street was a game-changer. We had easy access to those sandy shores, long walks along the coast, and plenty of opportunities to soak up the sun. The beach chairs and beach cart available to us made it super easy to bring our stuff to the beach. This vacation stay delivered the ultimate beach experience. The awesome backyard, the amazing host, and the proximity to the beach made it a total winner. If you're looking for a laid-back, unforgettable beach getaway, this is the place to be. I’m coming back for sure. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
